Why Ongoing WMS? "We were looking for a system that could actually keep up with our ideas. Unfortunately, the industry is often quite rigid, but we needed something flexible enough to handle everything from our large warehouse in Morgongåva to our lightning-fast city deliveries from Hötorget. Another crucial thing for us was being completely transparent with our customers. We provide every e-commerce merchant with their own login so they can track everything happening in real time—it creates a sense of security that we truly value."
How is Ongoing WMS used? "You could say that Ongoing is the heart of everything we do. It’s the bridge that connects our customers' webshops with our daily operations in the warehouses. It’s especially exciting at Hötorget, where we’ve fine-tuned the flows so much that we can deliver to the end customer in under an hour."
Biggest advantages: "It’s probably the simplicity, both for us and our customers. Since e-commerce merchants can manage their own orders and purchase orders directly in the system, we avoid a lot of unnecessary emailing back and forth. This frees up time for us to focus on packing and shipping instead, while our customers, in turn, can put all their energy into their core business. These kinds of efficiency gains are exactly what allow us to maintain our innovative pricing model."
Collaboration with Ongoing: "It has worked brilliantly. It doesn't feel like a typical customer relationship where you just buy a service, but more like a partnership. They are incredibly agile—as soon as we have a new idea or want to test a new integration, they are right there helping us with the tech. It’s that kind of personal touch that makes a real difference."
Onboarding: "We were actually pleasantly surprised. You're always a bit nervous that switching systems will drag on and cause issues, but it went surprisingly smoothly. Thanks to the fact that they already have ready-made integrations for most platforms, we were up and running much faster than we had dared to hope."
What integrations are you using? "The list is getting really long! We have everything from the classic shops like Shopify and WooCommerce to more niche solutions. We use nShift daily and have just launched an exciting collaboration with EazyStock to help our customers with inventory optimization. So far, we actually haven't encountered a system that we haven't managed to connect with; if the integration doesn't already exist, we work it out together with Ongoing."
