Drive value in your business by increasing speed, accuracy and visibility, all the way from SMEs to the enterprise customer with thousands of workers. Ongoing WMS supports a wide array of work processes that include scanning, to accommodate different needs in the warehouse.
Many businesses experience problems with shipping the wrong products on orders due to errors in pick and pack, they do not know what is in stock at each location, they miss goods during inbound and put-away, and lack the means to efficiently trace goods with lot, batch, or serial numbers.
With Ongoing WMS available in your warehouse, and with our scanning technology supporting all available input formats (barcode, QR, EAN, RFID) you’ll be well equipped to never see such problems again. Our scanning technology is highly flexible and completely browser-based, which means you as a customer can choose the hardware devices that fit your business and don't need to worry about complex updates or long development projects.
Optimizing your warehouse operations starts with precision. Our scanning technology are often involved in the following processes and can be completely tailored to your needs.
Inbounding goods accurately in the warehouse is essential for your operations. Ongoing supports temporary storage prior to put-away in buffer, picking, and other, locations. Receiving goods can be done with or without purchase orders, and with or without handheld units or by scanning product and location barcodes. Easily attach files and images to purchase orders from handheld devices during inbound.
Outbound goods against orders to gain full traceability in all steps of the supply chain. There is a multitude of possibilities on how the outbound process can look - from single-picking orders to advanced batch picking order flows.
If you are running large campaigns and have many orders, you can pick goods directly on orders when goods arrive. Save time by skipping the put-away and inbounding steps.
Efficiently handle B2C and B2B returns. Scan goods back into the system against the original order. Ensure full traceability, track and scan return causes, update warehouse locations, and streamline the inspection process to ensure that returned items are sellable or disposed of as quickly as possible.
Easily relocate inventory from one location to another using handheld units. Whether moving individual articles by EAN code, tracking unique serial numbers for full traceability, or scanning GS1/SSCC labels to move entire pallets at once, the system instantly updates the warehouse map and ensures real-time stock availability. This eliminates the risk of lost stock and ensures that the physical and digital locations of your goods always match.
For logistics providers, adding charges directly to a scanning process is easy. Combining manual charges with automatically created charges from the system, you’ll always charge your clients accurately – no matter if it concerns adding packaging material to an order, extra work on a pallet flow, or simply calculating how many order lines were picked during a time period.
Ongoing customers have high demands on being able to print the right documents at the right time, at the right printer. With our scanning technology, you’ll be able to set up scanning processes so that basically anything can be printed with a button click on the scanning device, at the printer of your choice.
The gold standard in digital and precision warehousing is scanning technology, and the processes we offer to our customers have been designed over time with some of the most efficient actors in the logistics industry.
