Ongoing WMS Now Available on the Shopify App Store
Recently, our Ongoing WMS-Shopify integration was approved to the Shopify App Store. To make it to the App Store, apps must go through a 100-checkpoint review by the Shopify team to make sure their partnering developers keep a high standard on their products.
Shopify is a leading global commerce company that powers better shopping experiences for the customers of their millions of online merchants. They are currently available in 175 countries, and niche themselves as “the all-in-one-commerce platform to start, run, and grow a business” which makes them a popular choice among eCommerce businesses.
Many Shopify merchants turn to third-party logistics providers (3PL) to take care of their entire order fulfillment. While the 3PLs handle the inventory, picking, and shipping, merchants can instead focus their energy on developing their businesses. Ongoing WMS is a software solution specially developed for 3PL businesses. To provide our 3PL users and their Shopify merchanting customers with a seamless logistics experience, we have developed our own integration with Shopify.
With the integration, orders are continuously fetched from Shopify to Ongoing WMS so that the warehouse workers are able to start the fulfillment process as soon as possible. Articles, stock, and fulfillment statuses are also continuously synced between Shopify and Ongoing WMS. The smart processes for inbound deliveries, picking, packing, and returns make the workflow in the warehouse a breeze.
The integration is available for 3PL businesses already using Ongoing WMS as well as their Shopify merchanting customers. The integration is also available for merchants operating their own warehouses
