Founded in Scandinavia in 2011, Danish menswear brand Les Deux blends timeless wardrobe staples with modern streetwear and preppy influences. From its Copenhagen headquarters, the brand operates a global wholesale and direct‑to‑consumer business with a strong commitment to responsible and ethical production. To support its European distribution operations Les Deux has selected Ongoing WMS, highlighting fast onboarding, fashion‑specific workflows, and robust integration capabilities.

As part of its continued growth, Les Deux recently began operating its own distribution center to serve the European market, creating new requirements for scalability, visibility, and efficient warehouse processes.

 

Ongoing WMS: A Strong Fit for Fashion Workflows

“Ongoing offered a proven, API‑driven WMS with fast onboarding and a strong fit for fashion workflows,” says Ole Kølby holden, Head of Operations at Les Deux. “It integrates cleanly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central via our middleware, supports scan/pick/pack and transporter integrations, and gives us reliable inventory visibility.”

A key factor in the decision was Ongoing WMS’s extensive ecosystem of integrations, originally developed to support third‑party logistics (3PL) providers. According to Les Deux, this creates clear operational advantages when running its own warehouse. “When operating our own distribution center for our European customer base, Les Deux benefits from the ‘tickle down’ integrations and functions that Ongoing provides to 3PLs,” Kølby explains. “We believe that with Ongoing as our WMS, we can scale our business and provide top-of-the-class services to our customers.”

 

KPI‑Driven Performance and Decision‑Making

Ongoing WMS supports Les Deux’s core warehouse processes, including inbound receiving against purchase orders, put‑away, replenishment, outbound picking, scan‑pack, cycle counting, label printing, and transport booking. The system is used as a central operational tool for both wholesale and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) flows.

Performance is closely monitored using KPIs such as throughput, pick accuracy, dispatch‑on‑time, and stock accuracy. “We measure performance through KPIs such as throughput, pick accuracy, dispatch‑on‑time, and stock accuracy. Current tracking shows we meet or exceed targets,” says Kølby. “We consolidate savings and productivity metrics in Power BI. This data source leads us to plan and make decisions based on data.”

 

A Structured and Smooth Onboarding Process

The onboarding process followed a clearly defined structure, moving from initial workshops and configuration through testing and go‑live. “The journey matched expectations and stabilized quickly post go‑live,” says Kølby. Collaboration with Ongoing throughout the implementation and beyond has been described as responsive and solution‑oriented. “Responsive and pragmatic. Quick iterations on configuration and helpful guidance on process choices; issues were resolved rapidly.”

Jakob Nilsson, former Customer‑Responsible Software Engineer and now part of the sales team at Ongoing, was responsible for onboarding Les Deux. He praises the collaboration: “I felt that the collaboration with Ole and Patrick at Les Deux worked very well. They were clear about what they wanted, while also being receptive when I explained how things are best implemented in Ongoing.”

 

Integrations with Business Central powered by BrightCom

Jakob continues: "A key success factor in the implementation I would like to highlight was, of course, the collaboration with BrightCom Solutions as well."

Integration between Ongoing WMS and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is handled through BrightCom’s BRC Connect/Back Office solution. “We use BrightCom’s BRC Connect/Back Office for our Business Central integrations. It provides logging, monitoring, error handling, and gives us owner‑level control of flows,” Kølby explains.

With Ongoing WMS now fully operational in its European distribution setup, Les Deux has established a data‑driven logistics foundation designed to support continued international growth while maintaining high service levels for both wholesale partners and direct‑to‑consumer customers.
