GP-Last has deployed Ongoing's WMS systems
In February, the transport and logistics company GP-Last AB commissioned a Web-based storage system, also known as a Warehouse Management System (WMS). System supplier is Ongoing Warehouse AB.
”It went quickly to get the system up and running. For example, we have been getting started with scanning and production orders. Our customers log into the system via their web browser and has quickly learned how to place orders and find relevant information in the system. The system is easy to use, while it has very good functionality for both us and for our customers", says Catarina Isacsson, Sales and Logistics Manager at GP-Last.
GP-Last AB opened a logistics center in Malmö in 2008, where it offers its customers warehousing and logistics services.
"We have a newly built modern warehouse with a good location for customers who want to reach the Öresund region. With Ongoing Web-based storage system, we improve the offer to our clients further", continues Catarina Isacsson.
Ongoing Warehouse is a system used by some 50 logistics companies operating in third party logistics. Approximately 800 companies supply chain are running in the system in total, a figure that is rapidly growing.
”For us it was important to choose an established system that is used by many logistics companies. Ongoing also gives us quick and competent help as soon as we need it. We are very satisfied with the cooperation", concludes Catarina Isacsson.
