Selector Logistik invests in third party logistics for their E-commerce

The Company Selector Logistik, with extensive experience in logistics management within the demanding B2B marketplace, is strengthening its offering within third-party logistics directed to E-retailers.

”We have for almost fifteen years built up and handled the logistics of large companies in B2B. For example Isolda, an IT accessories firm that by a first-rate logistics management has grown into one of the largest players in the Nordic region with a turnover of 800 million and good profitability. We are now investing further and offers third party logistics, primarily to e-retailers, where Selector wants to be a natural partner in their quest to build something big", says Fredrik Wester, CEO Selector Logistik AB.

Selector Logistik is part of the Primas Group and is privately owned. Their third-party logistics operations are located in new facilities in Torsvik, just outside Jönköping.

"We see that there are a large number of e-commerce companies that may not yet have the volumes or finances to invest in their own logistics infrastructure. We help these companies with logistics so they can focus 100 percent on growing their business," says Fredrik Wester.

Selector Logistik has recently chosen a warehouse management system (WMS) from the IT company Ongoing Warehouse. "We have chosen to use a web-based standard system for third-party logistics from Ongoing Warehouse. The advantage from the customer’s perspective is that we get a user-friendly yet precise system. In addition, Ongoing’s system is well-established and reliable, which allows Selector to benefit from all the development that has already been done as well as the ongoing improvements," says Fredrik Wester.

"Another advantage is that the system has a number of existing integrations with e-commerce platforms and various ERP systems. These integrations make it faster and easier for e-commerce businesses and other goods owners using those systems to outsource their logistics to us," Fredrik Wester continues.

"Selector Logistik has long developed and refined logistics handling for its customers. We are happy and proud that Ongoing’s warehouse system is now part of their strong offering. We look forward to a long-term and rewarding collaboration," says Gerhard Guron, CEO of Ongoing Warehouse AB.
