Veddesta Distribution AB and its subsidiary Multi Logistik AB deploys Ongoings' WMS system
Veddesta Distribution AB and its subsidiary Multi Logistics AB has started a collaboration with the IT Company Ongoing Warehouse AB. The partnership means that the two logistics companies will be using the Ongoing web-based warehouse management system (known as WMS system) to improve and develop its logistics activities in 3PL and logistics services.
"We are growing and need a skilled IT platform that enables us to streamline and coordinate our communication with our customers. Ongoing is a web based system which makes it easier for our customers to place orders, view stock balance, statistics and more", says Karim Boularbah, CEO at Veddesta Distribution AB and Multi Logistik AB.
The warehouse management system Ongoing Warehouse is used by sixty logistics companies involved in third party logistics. The logistics flows of more than 1000 goods owners are now running in the system. There are a large number of electronic connections to Ongoing, most of them to business systems, e-commerce and various transportation systems.
"An important aspect for us and for our customers is that it should be easy to connect our systems electronically to remove time-consuming, manual handling. Ongoing is a clever, well documented interface that allows our customers and their IT suppliers to make connections to Ongoing by themselves", continues Karim Boularbah.
